Animated typography and illustrations were created to accompany audio from a Brooklyn Nine-Nine cold open in this kinetic video. The motion of the text accentuates certain words and adds energy and pop to the video, while illustrations help to clarify the storyline and support its humorous tone. A number of techniques were employed to rotate, slide, and transform text. Illustrations were created in Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects was used to create the kinetic typography and animate illustrations. The file was then converted to an MP4 and compressed in Media Encoder.
